Maxwell is the resident Doctor of the Emerald Forest. He does not live in Kiki Lane but visits very frequently for different reasons. He always wears his signature blue  bow round his neck as it was a gift from his parents once he qualified as a doctor, and it’s his favourite colour.

Maxwell is a very optimistic yellow duck and always likes to find the positive in a situation, even when helping his patients. Being observant, he can easily realise what makes each creature happy and what will help to bring them out of hard situations..  He truly cares and loves every patient and friend.

Maxwell loves it when it rains and especially enjoys splashing in puddles. Even though he doesn’t need an umbrella, he will always use one when in rains as he loves the sound of water hitting it. Not only does he love the rain, he also enjoys warm bubbly baths and they help him relax after a day of work.  Another thing that helps him feel relaxed is a nice cup of tea. He will never turn down a good cup of tea, whatever the time or how busy he is. Coffee, however, is not something he likes as he finds it too bitter and not as calming.

Maxwell is not afraid of most things but he does find heights uncomfortable, despite being able to fly. He much prefers walking or swimming than having to fly anywhere and only flies when speed is strictly necessary.
