Profile

Meet Fumi, the youngest dragon in Kiki Lane who lives with the rest in the Great Library Tree. Fumi’s leaf pattern fits her perfectly with her love of the world around her - from the blades of grass to the tops of the trees she loves it all. Seeing nature work together and watching all the small animals interact with nature is one of her favourite pastimes. She especially loves watching the fish swim in the river  which means she really doesn’t like eating fish.

Imaginative and inquisitive, Fumi has a great interest in books and letter writing. Although she is still learning, her interest drives her to learn so she is often asking questions and writing letters to all her friends and fellow villagers to find out more.  She is always in awe of new things especially new plants or places she hasn’t seen. Some of her friends have come from places that seem very far away from her and almost like a different world so she enjoys reading or hearing all about where they used to call home and all the stories they can tell her.

All the residents of Kiki Lane love to see her energetically exploring. Fumi loves surprises so everyone enjoys showing her new things they have found as her excited face brings joy to their day. She is often found with a glass of fresh juice, given to her by a new person each day as everyone knows it’s her favourite. However, it is a well known fact that Fumi wont be around if there’s thunder as it scares her very much so she doesn’t leave home. At these times she is often found huddled under a blanket with a picture book in her hand, trying to escape.
