Meet Arietta the Music Fairy. Arietta grew up in the fairy village  but moved to Claymont City when everyone left. As a talented singer and violinist, she found work playing in local taverns and busking on the street. Whilst playing at the Laughing Lantern, she quickly made friends with Jasper the tiger.

Arietta has always been very passionate about music and has learnt different instruments over the years, but the violin and singing have always been her favourite. She is very talented at both of them but she would never be one to admit it herself and is very modest about her skills.

She had always been a very confident fairy and doesn’t care that much about what others think of her as a person, she just wants them to enjoy her music. Since she was young she always showed an interest in fashion, always making her outfits unique and bold to show her distinctive personality. Her favourite colours are black and pink and this is often mirrored in her clothing choices; with her bright pink hair, the black adds a bold accent to all of her looks which she loves. Arietta also loves roses of any colour but, for her, there has always been something special about a pink rose. She loves to have pink roses in her home whenever possible as they bring a smile to her face.

Although Arietta is a very confident fairy, she does struggle a lot when there is too much change. She prefers things to stay how they are and struggles with any sort of transition. One of the things she struggles with most is when winter comes around as it impacts her day a lot. With the cold air and possibility of snow, many people stay inside and aren’t roaming about the streets to listen to her play. This lack of audience makes the city seem a lot quieter and without being able to play her music she really struggles as silence makes her feel uneasy.
